Unchangeable Blessings

In the bottom of a bottle
Is were I can see what is left
Of my hopes and dreams.
Let go of your emotions
Is what the world screams,
But all I have left is my heart
That’s slowly drowning
In the liquid sorrows
Of my failed ambitions.
For a time
I will float along
Blindly following
The bread crumbs of a broken past.
Maybe this is to remember why
I still chose to live
And maybe in some way
I can find a future
In the shadows of these unforgettable dreams
Sometimes I believe
The blessings of change
Lies in the eyes of an unchangeable past,
For you and those that hope to be around you.
