The Fading Abeyant Sky

So many birds are flying today
And with each flap
Of a fowl’s wing
I keep looking pass the day
To see this magical land of tomorrow
For yesterday has disappeared
Therefore I am only left to the reality of what is now
But to my dismay
I have not the slightest idea
Of if now is, but a dream
Or if it belongs to something more concrete
Because the woes that fall with the lost broken feathers
Of these majestic flying creatures
Dissipate with time
And with time so do I
So, Forever I will remain standing
Thus staring at the fading abeyant sky
