Among the city streets there you dare to stand, as I wander by mesmerized in wonderment and cosmic tides
A divine lie that heaven stood so beautiful that nothing could match its serenity, yet the flowers cry out thus does my soul too
To tremble at a sight beholding angelic beings, the misery I get while in the presence of a wakeful dogma, such infatuation
Weary art I, to carry lamentations, and regrets, for I am a spirit fearful of what ifs, hence, I ask what if this “if ” is love in a sense …
Plated upon my heart the image thereof a crucifix… an earthquake to tamper my footing, the stars to quake mimicking your tempo
Within a momentary echo, the sky was painted a rose gold, and in your eyes, I stood forgotten…forsaken underneath the sun
My beloved dressed in linen…baptized sincerely as a portrayed, which dwells about the cortex frame operating my mind
Ergo, I was denied…spat out like vinegar… if only I could tell her, or give unto her a gift… once held sacred, once known a myrrh
All would bloom blessed, blossoming bashfully a new beginning far from ravens and innocent thieves
Linger still in the grace pertaining to thy Jubilee, Mary to weep as we resurrect salvation among the sinners and Roman thugs
“Be with me” I swore I heard you whisper as you departed from me
Perhaps, I am stargazing, dreaming of redemption…
For the ill sentiments of life has but kissed me upon my cheek and henceforth now I feel all together betrayed
It’s as if I am standing here with my last breath watching you leave, and I openly grieve to said stars bejeweled by your beauty
Of course, God, the father will forsake me as I sing out hymns made to corrupt the Jubilee with sanctified works regarding thy imagery
Persecute me lord if you must, I have already been mocked and ridiculed…taunted while carrying this unbearable cross
Impaled within my heart be still her everlasting essence entombed within my spirit to resurrect one day
Crown me the fool anointed by thorns and dressed too in a scarlet robe, the angels to rejoice at the death of my sacrilege
My world to know darkness as all I am left with is a remembrance of thy holy ghost
Among the city streets there you stood…daringly…calming for a moment a great tempest that forged within my soul…
Yet, I was to be denied… traded for shekels together shackled, judged, therefore forever casted into a broken synagogue
The martyr…upon shifting sands I found myself worshipping thee…baptized into what some would call liberty
