This is a place
That does not lie within the sky
Nor in the palace of kings.
Although angels, and those of royal blood
May inhabit such a safe haven
It belongs to the aesthetic eyes of the dreamer.
This is a utopia.
Where one can rest their weary souls,
And elevate ones self from ones own sins.
This heaven resides in the heart
As an everlasting home to the restless mind
Forever the sanctity of tranquility.
One can take ease
In the freedom that rings
In its holy halls.
Because you see in there
You are a liberated spirit
For all has been forgiven.
